The 2010 SWDA Convention & Trade Show will be co-located with the Las Vegas Gift Show, one of the fastest growing shows in the gift and souvenir business. Following extensive discussions with the Las Vegas show’s organizers, Urban Expositions, the show will be a few days before the Las Vegas Gift Show - allowing the association to keep our own identity while cutting expenses for vendors as well as distributors.
How will this benefit members? Supplier members will enjoy reduced costs in travel, drayage, and setup fees, while maintaining their important connections at our “distributor-only” show.
Distributor members will still benefit from an exclusive “distributor-only” show, but can also participate in the Las Vegas gift show.

SWDA has designated the SpringHill Suites by Marriott as the preferred hotel for the SWDA 2010 Convention & Trade Show, with a group rate of $84 per night. This rate includes a full breakfast buffet each morning, complimentary wireless internet in guest rooms and all common areas, and free parking for hotel guests. The hotel also features a full service Business Center, rooftop pool and fitness center.
The SpringHill Suites is the closest hotel to the exhibit hall for the 2010 SWDA Trade Show, located just across the street at the Las Vegas Convention Center. All meetings, including the awards viewing and banquet, plus the hospitality lounge will take place at the SpringHill Suites.

Attendance Profile
The SWDA Convention & Trade Show is the largest gathering of its kind for distributors of post cards and souvenirs. SWDA members from throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean attend this event searching for new products to add to their lines and to place orders for their coming season. This is the BIGGEST buying show of the year for the majority of the association’s distributor members.
Who should exhibit?
Suppliers of post cards and related printed goods, manufacturers or importers of souvenirs and other tourist products all have a place at the SWDA show. Products displayed include post cards, calendars, souvenir books, posters, placemats and other printed goods; screen printed and embroidered t-shirts, hats and other sportswear. Souvenir items include glassware, ceramics, magnets, key chains, plush items, puzzles, pens, candy, screen savers, jewelry and novelty items.

The trade show will take place in the Las Vegas Convention Center, while all other events, including the awards viewing and banquet, panels and membership meetings, will take place at the Marriott Springhill Suites, located directly across from the convention center. While there are many hotel options in Las Vegas, SWDA has negotiated an outstanding rate of $84 per night at the Marriott Springhill Suites. The all-suite hotel features free WiFi and complimentary parking, a full complimentary breakfast for hotel guests, a roof-top pool and fitness center.
Distributor Registration is $150 per person. This fee includes the convention panels, coffee break and two lunches, the 2010 trade show, access to the hospitality suite and awards viewing, and all meeting materials.
Exhibitor Booth Fee is $850 per booth. The booth package includes two tables for a table top display, chairs, lunch in the exhibit hall for two representatives, and access to the hospitality lounge for two nights.
